Synopsis:
The movie scored nearly 104 million yuan in box office, ranking second in Japanese box office in 2016, surpassing “Mars Rescue” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. The theater edition of Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Birth of Japan (2016) is the 36th theater edition of the series of Doraemon. This movie is the recreation of the public theater edition of “Nobita and the Birth of Japan”in 1989, which begins with a group of rebellious kids, namely Nobita Nobi, Takeshi Goda, Suneo Honekawa, and Shizuka Minamoto. Eager to leave their home under the tremendous pressures of their parents, they ask for the Doraemon’s help to go to prehistoric Japan, 70,000 years in the past. In building their own retreat away from the world, they run into the mysterious boy Kukuru. From then on, they are involved into the relentless fight between light and dark tribes. They work together to win over the leader of dark tribe, only to unveil a shocking secret.
